About Ryan Fox

Umbrella training & consulting was the brainchild of Ryan Fox. Ryan started his business career selling koi carp before heading for University where he studied business. Spending the summer in Ibiza promoting his company ‘Forbidden Fruit Productions’, Ryan spent his time staging events for the ‘90’s club scene.

Returning to the UK the corporate world beckoned and Ryan worked for Coca Cola in brand management. Headhunted by a small management company, Ryan then found himself working in the City in the world of finance. Yearning to return to the creative sector he joined Getty Images to manage the work of some of the world’s greatest photographers. Then, wanting to utilise his people development and training skills, Ryan moved to Wella (UK). There he spent 6 years working as a business coach to some of the industry’s major players.

Now Ryan heads Umbrella training & consulting and is founder of the British Hairdressing Business Forum.

Ryan has honed his skills to become an NLP practitioner and professional speaker and is currently working on his first book ‘Do it with style’.
